Each year, True Vision Church proudly hosts its Music Ministry Appreciation Musical, a heartfelt celebration recognizing the dedication and impact of a local music minister within the San Antonio community. This special event brings together church members, fellow musicians, music ministries, and community affiliates to honor those who have faithfully served through the gift of music.
This year, we are thrilled to celebrate Mother Doloris Blair-Williams, affectionately known as “Mama Dee.”
Mama Dee’s legacy is deeply rooted in the East Side of San Antonio, where she has faithfully served as a musician at Antioch Baptist Church for over 70 years. Her commitment to excellence and ministry has extended far beyond the church walls — she has been a standby musician for the MLK Commemorative Program for more than 25 years, and formerly hosted the MLK District Two Youth Talent Show, inspiring generations of young performers.
In recognition of her lifelong contributions, Mama Dee was awarded an honorary Doctorate in Christian Music from the San Antonio Theological College — a testament to her influence and unwavering devotion to music ministry.
