Register for our New member Orientation-First Connect, held on Sunday, June 1 at 1PM.
We believe that our new member orientation is an important step for individuals who are new to True Vision Church for several significant reasons:
Welcome and Connection: Our New Member Orientation provides a structured and welcoming environment for newcomers to feel seen, valued, and connected to the church family. It helps to move you from being a visitor to feeling like you belong.
Understanding Church Beliefs and Values: TVC’s orientation covers the foundational beliefs, core values, and theological distinctives of the True Vision. This ensures that any one attending this class understands True Vision biblically based beliefs.
Learning About Church History and Structure: This session helps you to understand the church’s identity and how it functions. This is where you will learn about the history of TVC, its mission and vision, how it is organized, and the roles of different leaders and ministries.
Discovering Ministry Opportunities: Not sure what to do our how to use your gifts? TVC’s New Member Orientation is a great way for you to find areas where you can get involved, use your talents, and contribute to TVC’s mission.
Understanding Membership Expectations: Not only do we let you know what you should expect from True Vision, we also let you know what is expected of you! Our Membership Covenant outlines basic biblical principle that we adhere to as members of TVC.
Meeting Leaders and Other Members: Our New Member Orientation provides an opportunity for you to meet the pastors, ministry leaders, and other members of the church. This helps build relationships and integrates you into the social fabric of our congregation.
Overall, our new member orientation was designed to help you feel more comfortable, confident, and informed as you navigate being a member of True Vision Church. We want to try and reduce feelings of being overwhelmed or out of the loop.
